Scarecrow Contest 

About the Scarecrow Contest

Starting from Friday afternoon, visitors will have the chance to vote for their favorite scarecrows. The voting process will end on Sunday at 5 p.m. To cast your vote, pick up and return voting sheets to the Information Booths located in the Family Zone in Lincoln Park and in front of the Municipal Building. Alternatively, you can drop the sheets at the voting box situated at the Activity Zone on Riverside Ave. Remember to vote for only one entry in each category. You may also vote using the Travel St. Charles App which you can download HERE. Use the number displayed at the Scarecrow as a reference and ensure you submit only one voting ballot per person.
 

The Scarecrows will be on display at the Family Zone in Lincoln Park and at the Activity Zone in Riverside Avenue. Please reference the 2023 Scarecrow Contest Map in the Scarecrow brochure.

Voting on the Travel St. Charles App

1. Download the Travel St. Charles App by clicking HERE or by clicking the link below, and sign.

2. Click on the 'Challenges' button and select the category you are voting for.

3. Select the corresponding scarecrow and press 'Scan QR Code'. 

4. After you scan the QR Code, all you have to do is press 'Submit'!

*IMPORTANT*: You must click the "Check In Tab" before scanning the QR code. If you do not, it will not register your vote.

Additionally, just like in voting with a paper ballet, you will submit only one vote per category!
